The Dear Departed
Originally written in 1911 by Stanley Houghton, The Dear Departed was updated in 1997 by the Spotlights Drama Group in County Durham.
For 2008, the play was updated again by group member Matt Bowen, primarily to drop in the new character of Jimmy. The play was performed at the New Road Community Centre in Earby, Lancs on the 1st and 2nd of February. A review of the play appeared in The Barnoldswick & Earby Times and on their website!
